Camera Traps – December 2022 accrued 242-cassowaries, 60-dingoes and 144-feral pigs. Against the cumulative monthly average, cassowary numbers increased by 158%, dingoes rose by 131% and feral-pigs also escalated by 32%. Against December 2021, cassowary numbers fell by 44%, dingoes rose by 361% and feral-pig numbers decreased by 44%.

This means the Minister decided that significant impacts on Matters of National Environmental Significance are unlikely.
